- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆August 30, 2019, by Deb GWe went for a battery. The guy came out to put it in and was very friendly. He put it in backwards then tried to hammer the cables back on. After he got shocked he turned it around. The battery light was on in the car so he tested and said it was the alternator. We drove home with a boxed alternator and took it to a mechanic this morning. The O'Reilly guy shorted out a fuse when he got shocked. The alternator was not bad and when we confronted the guy he denied it. The manager did refund the money for the alternator but never said I'm sorry for anything. Mistakes do happen but own them!
